The Journey to Spiritual Wisdom
April 28th, 2010Discovering ones spiritual beliefs is often times a blind journey. Many times we go through our lives not realizing that from the day we were born we are embarking on developing the human soul spirit and the power that faith holds for us as individuals and the world as a whole. We get so caught up dealing with issues of the ego such as jealousy, greed, and many others that sometimes our focus turns into surviving the challenges and nurturing our own self esteem.
For some of us the answer for personal growth dawns on us like a lightbulb going off in our hearts and minds and we transform our thoughts and spiritual practies otherwise known as a “spiritual awakening.”We begin to evolve and create Spiritual wisdom - a process of understanding, living with spirit principles, nurturing your spiritual faith and above all truly believing.
Each and everyone of us has the power, the ability to practice our faith, our spiritual beliefs. I have found in my life that my spiritual wisdom has brought me through many difficult and painful events. Grief, jealousy, greed these are issues that most of us are either on the receiving end of or the perpetrator of. I have found my own personal growth, spiritual wisdom and self esteem to grow leaps and bounds enabling me to overcome these issues and nurture my own spirituality beyond my imagination by applying my spiritual principles and nurturing my faith through prayer and meditation.
The other day for the first time I tried a Reiki treatment, I had no idea the benefits of my one healing session. I have always been the type of person who wanted to help others, (the healer in me) many mothers carry that character trait but being a sensitive person I found that I couldnt shake off the negative energy that had built up over the years and hanging on to me like dead weight. And then I went for Reiki, I feel cleared of that energy, renewed and lightened. I am always in search of and open to nurturing my soul, my faith and my mind. Learning, developing and practicing a spiritual life will carry you through with peace and love.
