Reflecting on Spirit

I recently celebrated the graduation of both my sons. One from College and the other high school. A milestone for them as well as myself. The energy applied to meet their goals, the drive, perseverance and focus required still leaves me in awe of their abilities. But as they reach this stage in their life I find myself even more proud of who they are as individuals, the core being that shouts kindness, moral strength and alot of faith that made each of them who they are today. So I ask myself where did these ideals come from and I reflect on spiritual teachings, applying spiritual principles and setting high morals and goals for personal behavior and beliefs. This is only one reason why, I know the value of following your Spirit and Not your Ego. Read more…

Bullying can be in the form of verbal, physical or emotional abuse and typically is persistently occurring against another weaker individual who doesn’t have the power to stop the perpetrator. The victim may seek out help and guidance from peers, or an adult if they are a child and often times is turned away with remarks like “learn how to take criticism”. Discovering ones spiritual beliefs is often times a blind journey. Many times we go through our lives not realizing that from the day we were born we are embarking on developing the human soul spirit and the power that faith holds for us as individuals and the world as a whole.
